Northeast Region Azbee Awards Finalists Announced
Here are the magazines that will be honored with Northeastern region Azbee awards. Exactly which awards each publication won and how each placed will be announced at our regional awards banquet on July 18.

Ronn Campisi Joins ASBPE Boston/New England Board
Designer Ronn Campisi has joined the Boston/New England chapter board of the American Society of Business Publication Editors.
Campisi has extensive experience in the area of publication design. He is former design director of The Boston Globe and has served as design director at Boston magazine, The Real Paper and Fusion magazine. In addition, Campisi has designed formats for many leading technology magazines and newspapers including PC Magazine, Computerworld, Computer Reseller News, and InfoWorld. Campisi has won more than 300 awards for his work and was part of the team that won a 1983 Pulitzer Prize for a special Boston Globe magazine section entitled "War and Peace in the Nuclear Age."
Here's what our Boston/New England chapter president, Alan Earls, had to say about the appointment: "We are excited to have Ronn aboard and hope his wealth of experience will inform our development of programs and events that will strengthen ties with the design side of our membership."

ASBPE Announces Web Site Publication of the Year Finalists
The Top 10 finalists for ASBPE's Web Site Publication of the Year Award have been announced.
The Web Site Publication of the Year is a new designation in this year's competition. Up till now, ASBPE has named Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in a national "Overall Web Site" category, but the society wanted to raise the profile of the award and recognize in a way comparable to the Magazine of the Year Awards.
Although the Web Site Publication of the Year Award (like the Magazine of the Year Awards) is a national award only (to be announced during the National Editorial Conference in New York), I figure it's always of interest to see which sites from our region are among the finalists.
This year, finalists based in the competition's Northeast Region are:
CFO.com, the site for Boston-based CFO magazine
ENR.com, the site for New York City-based Engineering News-Record
eWeek.com, the site for eWeek magazine in Woburn, Mass.
