2008 Azbee Awards Deadline, Conference Dates Set

The deadline for 2008 Azbee Awards of Excellence entries will be Feb. 1, 2008. Material published in 2007 is eligible for entry in the 2008 competition. The online entry form will be made live on the ASBPE site in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can start thinking about what you’ll enter. To get an idea of the categories in which you can enter, see the list of 2007 winners, accessible here.

The dates for this year's National Editorial Conference are July 24-25. The conference will be held in Kansas City, at the at the InterContinental Hotel on the Plaza. The national Azbee Awards banquet will be held there on the night of July 24. Details on session topics will be posted on the ASBPE national web site soon; members will also find them in the November/December ASBPE newsletter, mailing soon.
