You are cordially invited to attend the Northeast Region Azbee Awards Banquet on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
The Boston/New England Chapter of the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) will be holding an Awards Banquet and networking evening at Verona Restaurant in Watertown Square.

AWARDS:
The awards part of the event will recognize regional winners in this year's annual Azbees. ASBPE's Azbee Awards of Excellence program is one of the most competitive there is for business-to-business, trade, association, and professional publications. The awards recognize outstanding work by magazines, and newsletters in a wide range of design and editorial categories.
SPEAKER:
Our speaker will be Kristin Burnham, an award-winning journalist and blogger who covers the ever-evolving social media and Web 2.0 landscape for CIO.com. Her beat focuses on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google, as well as social tools used within the enterprise. As staff writer, Kristin's articles showcase practical tips, tricks and tutorials for consumers and businesses alike, as well case studies that detail company successes — or failures — in the Web 2.0 environment. In her blog, Web 2.0 Advisor, Kristin chronicles what matters and what doesn't in social networking and consumer applications.
